We’ve added whole new ways of analyzing your campaign performance over time. Use this enhanced email metrics comparison to delve into what’s happening with your campaigns. The extra dimensions and sorting options will make it easier to improve your email marketing results.

New Report Filters and Sorting

The Campaign Comparison report now has new filters that allow you to review your campaigns by type (triggered, split test, standard, etc.), by campaign name or by the lists that received the message.

The Campaign Type Filter allows you to compare campaigns based on their type, which makes it easy to review how your triggered messages are doing or to see how a split test campaign outperformed a standard message, for example.

Use the List Filter to group campaigns by one or more recipient lists. The filter makes it easy to compare how various segments or audiences are responding to your email content.

The Name Filter allows you to quickly organize campaigns that have a common naming convention. If, for example, all of your newsletters include “blog update” in the internal campaign name, the name filter makes it easy to see how those campaigns are performing over time.

A new interface also allows you to easily choose a date range for your comparison and the graph can be sorted by any dimension.

New Metrics and Dimensions

Isolate the email reporting metrics that matter most to your strategy.

Isolate the email reporting metrics that matter most to your strategy.

Add depth and insight to your reports with more than three dozen reporting metrics that you can add to your comparison report. Add or remove metrics you want to analyze with the “Show/hide columns” menu.

Use the dimensions to isolate the metrics that are most important to your email marketing strategy. For example, if you are optimizing your campaigns for your mobile subscribers, you can add the mobile clicks and desktop clicks metrics to review how your campaigns performed on those platforms.

It’s easy to become overwhelmed with numbers and statistics, and the ability to show and hide information on your reports is an important tool for staying focused on the engagement metrics that really matter.

Email marketing remains among the most effective communication channels, in part because of the rich store of data and analytics it provides. Use our enhanced Campaign Comparison report to increase your email ROI.
